An American football quarterback Zach played for the New York Jets of the National Football League(NFL). His full name is Zachary Kapono Wilson.

He was born in Draper, Utah(1999). Earlier, he committed to play with Boise State University. But, he attended Brigham Young University.

In childhood, Wilson has Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (a family trait). In 2018, he played nine games and made seven starts as a true freshman at BYU.

His 1st career game against Hawaii made him the youngest quarterback at BYU. Wilson completes 18 passes in 317 yards and four touchdowns against Western Michigan.

Wilson won by 49-18 and got the tag MVP of the 2018 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. In the 2020 season, he completed 26, 34 passes for 425 yards and three touchdowns. 

He got victory over UCF and was named offensive MVP of the  2020 Boca Raton Bowl. Wilson and Talanoa Hufanga received the 2020 Polynesian College Football Player of the Year Award.

In 2022, while playing the preseason game against Philadelphia Eagles, he suffered non-contact knee surgery and did not return.
