Thomas Lee Bass is an American musician born in Athens, Greece. His family settled in California when he was two years old.

To pursue a music career, Lee dropped out of high school. At 19, he started with L.A. club band Suite.

Led Zeppelin, Cheap Trick, Tommy Aldridge, Terry Bozzio, Alex Van Halen, and John Bonham was his inspiration.

Bassist Nikki Sixx became a fan of Lee's drumming when he saw his theatrical heavy metal performance.

With Nikki Sixx and other members, Lee formed a heavy metal band named Mötley Crüe. Too Fast for Love is the debut album.

Their later releases were Shout at the Devil, Theatre of Pain, 'Girls, Girls, Girls, and s Dr. Feelgood.

In 2002, He released his first solo album 'Never a Dull Moment. Rap metal band Methods of Mayhem is his other band.

Lee starred in a reality show named 'Tommy Lee Goes to College. He played the devil in Halloween in Hell.

Lee is an animal rights activist and supports PETA. Tommyland, released in 2005, is Lee's autobiography.
