Shania Twain was born on August 28, 1965, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, to Sharon Morrison as well as Clarence Edwards. When she turned two years old, her parents divorced.

She then continued to live with her mother and two sisters.Jerry Twain, her mom's second husband, adopted Shania and her sisters. The birth of a brother as well as the acceptance of another brother
