Roquan Smith is an American football player who plays for the National Football League(NFL). In his initial days, he also played College football at Georgia.

He won the Butkus Award and became the first Georgia Bulldog. In the Georgia college, Smith played under the coaches of  Mark Richt and Kirby Smart. 

In 2015 as a true freshman at Georgia, By playing 12 games, Smith recorded 20 tackles. In 2016, as a Sophomore, he started 10 of 13 games and recorded 95 tackles.

Roquan was honored with MVP of the SEC Championship Game and SEC Defensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press.

Chicago Bears : First NFL Draft in 2018, Smith was commissioned by the Chicago Bears with the eighth overall pick.

His 1st career snap(week 1 of NBC) was against the Green Bay Packers. There he recorded a sack on the Packers' quarterback DeShone.

By Playing 16 games, he finished the season, making 14 stars and recording 121 tackles.

4 stars 121 tackles.

In 2018 he secured 39th highest grade among all qualifying linebackers. Smith makes a place on the PFWA All-Rookie team.
