Robyn Rihanna Fenty is a Barbadian singer born in 1988. Apart from singing, she is an actress and businesswoman.

Rihanna's Music Career

Rihanna developed an interest and started to listen to reggae music. She met a Barbadian singer and songwriter, Shontelle, in a sub-military program. 

She recorded demo tapes with American producer Evan Rogers. Later Rihanna signed with Def Jam, and her first 'Music of the Sun and 'A Girl Like Me' albums came.  

On the Billboard 200 chart, both albums make in the top ten. Rihanna won her first Grammy award for the album 'Umbrella'. After which, she received global stardom. 

Rihanna's other albums are Rated R, Loud, Rude Boy, "Only Girl (In the World), What's My Name, WE found Love, Where Have You Been, Diamonds, and many more. 

She became the second-best-selling female music artist of all time. Forbes ranked her highest-paid celebrity two times. In 2022, Rihanna became the wealthiest female musician. 

She founded the nonprofit organization Clara Lionel Foundation. In 2021, she became the National Hero of Barbados and got the title of The Right Excellent for life.
