Issey Miyake, a Japanese fashion Designer, died at 84. He was born in Hiroshima (1938) and faced the atomic bombing of the US.

Miyake wanted to become a dancer since childhood. He was attracted to fashion designing by reading his sister's magazine.
He did his Graphic designing course at the Tama Art University (Tokyo). Miyake, enrolled in the Chambre syndicale de la couture parisienne school in Paris.

He produced black turtlenecks, the signature attire of Apple's Steve jobs. After returning to Tokyo, he established Miyake Design Studio, which focuses on women's fashion.
Many designers admired him for his work. One of them was Geoffrey Beene. Later, Miyake started to design both apparel for men and women.

Miyake stated that - Fashion is the interactive relationship between art and people. He was one of the co-directors of Japan's first design museum.
