Actor Roger E. Mosley passed away on Sunday. He was best known for playing helicopter pilot Theodore “TC” Calvin on the popular 1980s series “Magnum, P.I.” He was 83. Mosley’s daughter confirmed the news of his death.
Roger E. Mosley, actor dies after a car crash
Actor Roger E. Mosley, who was injured in a vehicle accident last week and became paralyzed from the neck down, died on Saturday in the company of his family, according to the actor’s daughter Ch-a Mosley. There was no more information available regarding the accident.

Roger E. Mosley appeared in many other TV series
More than 150 episodes of the crime-adventure show “Magnum, P.I.“, which aired for eight seasons from 1980 to 1988, starring Roger E. Mosley and Tom Selleck. Mosley also appeared as another character named John Booky in a more recent adaptation of the popular show, according to his IMDb page.
The Los Angeles native starred as Coach Ricketts in the 1990s sitcom “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper” in addition to “Magnum, P.I.”
He has had appearances on many of other TV shows, including “Sanford and Son,” “Love Boat,” “Kojak,” “The Rockford Files,” “Starsky and Hutch,” and many more.
