Raiders’ triumph against the Jaguars for the 2022 Hall of Fame Game

Raiders beats Jaguars in the Hall of Fame Game

Josh McDaniels led the Las Vegas Raiders to victory in the Hall of Fame game, inaugurating a new era of football for the team. Las Vegas’s offence pushed the ball all over the field as the they easily trounced the Jaguars 27-11.

Josh Jacobs playing in the first two series was one of the most important things to learn from the game. Despite the absence of the most of the crucial starters in this game, Jacobs received seven touches in two offensive series from the “first-team” attack. What should we learn from this? That is debatable. However, it was unexpected to see him there.

What We Learned from Raiders’ win over Jaguars

In this game, the Raiders used several running backs, including youngster Zamir White. White received 14 touches for a total of 75 yards at the Hall of Fame game despite missing the first two weeks of practice. He appeared explosive, and it is obvious that he will play some part in the offence this year.

All night long, the Raiders ran the ball pretty effectively. As the entire starting lineup played, the offensive line created a number of enormous openings (outside of Kolton Miller). For a unit that had trouble blocking in the run game the previous season, it was heartening to see. On 33 carries, they gain a combined 159 yards and three scores.

The subsequent preseason contest will take place on Sunday, August 14 at 4:25 PM. In order to get to 2-0, they’ll play the Minnesota Vikings in Las Vegas. Although it’s unlikely that Derek Carr and Davante Adams will participate in that game, more starters should be present the following week.
