Guardiola has now been named ten times the new manager of the month, making him third in the competition and West Ham manager David Moyes. Only Sir Alex Ferguson (27) and Arsene Wenger (15) have won the award several times.
Man City started in November with a derby victory 2-0 at Manchester United and followed it up by keeping the second clean sheet in a successful 3-0 home win over Everton.
Their win went on to beat West Ham United 2-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
This series of results gave the champions one point to reach the top, before reaching the top and winning consecutive victories in early December.
The 50-year-old has won after public votes combined with those of the football experts’ team, defeating his fellow teammates Steven Gerrard and Jurgen Klopp.
