Paul Sorvino father of Oscar-winning actress Mira Sorvino passed away at the age of 83. He was also an actor. Paul was famous for playing a role in the gangster classic movie named “Goodfellas”. Mira Sorvino pays tribute to her father.

Paul Sorvino is a Hollywood actor who played the role of a coldhearted mobster Paulie Cicero. He became a household name after portraying in Martin Scorsese‘s GoodFellas. He also acted in the early seasons of the NBC series Law & Order. Paul recently passed away on July 25.
Paul died of natural causes and when he died he was 83 years old. He died at Indiana Residence. After his demise, his close friends and family members paid their heartfelt condolences to the departed soul.
Paul Sorvino’s publicist Roger Neal confirmed the news of his death on behalf of Paul’s widow, Dee Dee Sorvino. Roger was at Paul’s side when he passed away. She wrote on her Facebook page that “I am completely devastated. The love of my life & the most wonderful man who has ever lived is gone. I am heartbroken.”

Mira Sorvino won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Woody Allen’s “Mighty Aphrodite” in 1995. Later she accused disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment. Mira Sorvino’s father was always protective of her as once he threatened to kill him.
