On 26 July, Tuesday, the Mega Millions numbers were in for the lottery jackpot. The jackpot is worth an estimated $810 million, with a cash option of $470.1 million.
The mega ball for Tuesday night’s drawing was 15, and the winning numbers were 29, 63, 66, 7, and 60. The Megapiler was 3X. The Mega Millions drawings were held at approx. 11 p.m. every two times per week i.e. every Tuesday and Friday.

Tuesday’s jackpot prize is the third largest in Mega Millions history and the fourth largest in US history. Over the last two days, the jackpot prize is increasing significantly. If the sales continued to increase at this pace then the jackpot could be even larger. If no one would be able to win tonight’s drawing, then Friday’s jackpot could almost increase to $1 Billion.
The Mega Millions jackpot tickets cost $2 each. The jackpot is played in 44 states including the district of Columbia and the Virgin Islands. As the jackpot prize increases, the number of players also increases.
National Mega Millions sales rose from $116 million to $172.1 million from 19 July to 22 July. As all the attention was on Tuesday’s giant prize, lottery officials expected sales increased to $262.1 million.
The additional ticket purchases mean that 23% of all number combinations were covered for the 22 July drawing. For Tuesday’s drawing, about 33% will be covered. As there have been 28 consecutive draws without a jackpot winner, it is allowing the prize to grow week after week.
