King Kong: New live-action series streaming on Disney+

New live-action King Kong series streaming on Disney+

King Kong fans are in a terrific position right now. Because next year will be the 90th anniversary of the film’s release.

Disney+ will soon feature a well-known monster. A Disney+ series following the origins of the renowned ape. It is currently in the very early stages of development.





The project, from James Wan’s Atomic Monster, has just secured deals. And the first live-action series set in the Kong universe.

The series will aim to recreate the charm of the important picture.

Meanwhile, they also present King Kong’s beginnings because it is based on the 1933 version of King Kong. Merican C. Cooper has write the storyline.

According to Variety, the program would be a serialized drama that will examine both the big ape’s past and his native Skull Island.

The program will also include information from recent Joe DeVito novels. That was collaboration with Cooper’s estate.

Stephany Folsom, who recently had success converting Paper Girls to television for Amazon, will pen the Disney+ King Kong show.





Along with James Wan, Michael Clear, Rob Hackett, and Dannie Festa for World Builder Entertainment.
Folsom will also serve as an executive producer for Atomic Monster.

Disney Branded Television will also produce.

It’s important to note that an anime adaptation.
Skull Island is now made for Netflix, thus King Kong will likely feature. Frequently in the years to come.




Two series from the Monterverse also in the process

The most recent appearances of the character were in Kong.
That is Skull Island and Godzilla vs. Kong, two movies from the Monsterverse. A Godzilla vs. Kong sequel is also in the works.

And Adam Wingard will once more serve as a director. Apple is also developing a live-action Godzilla series. King Kong from the MonsterVerse will make a comeback in the Godzilla vs. Kong sequel

And finally it is scheduled for release on March 15, 2024.
