Emilia Clarke appeared in a hit TV series “Game of Thrones” from where she found her global fame. She opened up about her fight with a “brain aneurysm” and after losing quite a bit of her organ she recovered.
Emilia Clarke took a long time for recovering from an Aneurysm:
Emilia Clarke revealed that she suffered two life-risking brain aneurysms while she was working for the hit TV show, She suffered it the first time in 2011 and then in 2013. To recover from this crucial medical emergency she took a long time. Clarke said that “It was the most excruciating pain”, adding to which she also said that it was incredibly helpful for her to be working in the “Game Of Thrones” as it gave her a purpose to live.
Emilia Clarke said that “The amount of my brain that is no longer use-able it is remarkable that I am able to speak, sometimes articulately, and live my life completely normally with absolutely no repercussions. In the really, really, really small minority of people that can survive that.” Further, she revealed that due to an aneurysm a small part of her brain is not working.

Emilia Clarke laughed and explained how this disease affects her brain, “There’s quite a bit missing, which always makes me laugh…Strokes, basically, as soon as any part of your brain doesn’t get blood for a second, it’s gone. So the blood finds a different route to get around, but then whatever bit is missing is therefore gone.”
As per the reports, Aneurysm in the brain is called a cerebral aneurysm that develops in the blood vessels that stays deep inside the brain. A person who is suffering from this disease may not even know that they have it as usually there are no symptoms of it. Approx 3 to 5 percent of people in the world suffer aneurysms. This disease can be proved to be deadly as the swelling may increase pressure on the nerves or brain tissue, and can also burst, which may cause a brain hemorrhage.
